The Themed Entertainment Association taps Ron Miziker to plan and produce it’s prestigious 20th Anniversary Awards Ceremony
With over 1000 attendees at the Grand Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel Resort, the 20th Anniversary Thea Awards Ceremony was planned and produced by Ron Miziker. The spectacular black tie event included special presentations by Steven Spielberg; Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe and Academy Award winning composer Michael Giacchino; the voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy Cartwright; the Oscar winning director of Pixar’s “Up” and “Monsters, Inc.” Pete Docter; the actor inside “Star Wars” C-3PO costume Anthony Daniels along with 20 Storm Troopers and R2D2 and producer George Lucas; the creator of the “Simpsons” Matt Groening; the Creative Director of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation, John Lasseter; and the founder of Dreamworks, Jeffery Katzenberg.
The Themed Entertainment Association represents creators of compelling places and experiences worldwide. Thea Awards honors outstanding achievement by the individuals who create, design and build the leading theme parks, its shows and attractions.
